Back in 2010, someone spent 10k bitcoins to purchase 2 pizzas. This was one of the first instances of actual value exchange using bitcoins. Unfortunately, it also turned out to be the most expensive pizza ever bought as 10k bitcoins would be worth something like $65,000,000.00 today.
This shirt was designed in reference to that momentous purchase. The name Satoshi's Pizza is derived from the pseudonym of bitcoin's anonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto.
